Kaptan Demir Çelik; started to make iron and steel production in the first Rolling Mill built in 1964 in Karabük. Today, the company has been making productions in compliance with the international standards at its Steel Mill, Rolling Mill, and Oxygen Factory located in the Trakya region.
Steel Mill
The only steel mill in the region, which was established in 2002 in Marmara Ereğlisi; has an annual production capacity of 1.4 million tons of billet iron. KDÇ Çelikhanesi is 7km from Martaş port facilities and 5km from the main road.
