The “KAPTAN GROUP” WIRE ROD MILL designed to roll special steel grades which is under construction now will start Rolling in mid-February 2023. With annual capacity of 500 000 ton the mill is capable of rolling “rebars in coils” and “plain wire rods” in sizes and grades as follows.
Rebars in coils : øRe6 – øRe20 (Q and T – Fine Grain)
Plain Wire Rod : ø4.5 – ø26
Plain WR Grades : low and high C steel, cold heading steel, welding wires, spring steel, PC strand steel, bearing steel, free-cutting steel, stainless steel.
